How to Clean and Season the Pan with Burnt food

If you ever get a situation where you find that the food is burnt and stick to the non stick surface of your non stick; then do no try to scrape it off using spatula or utensils.

Rather try this method to make it get rid off the suborn food stains without causing much damage.

  1. Do not rush to submerge your pan into the sink. Wait until it is completely cools down.
  2. Now with a soft sponge and dishwashing soap remove the soft debris and grease that can be easily removed.
  3. Make a mixture of water and vinegar in ratio of 1:2 and stir it until fully mixed and pout it into the pan.
  4. Now place the pan on the stove top and let the mixture boil on medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. When it starts to boil, add 2 table spoons of baking soda. Baking soda is used as a cleaning agent; when it reacts with vinegar helps cleaning deeply and releasing the stubborn food stains from the surface.
  6. After giving 3 to 5 minutes to the whole mixture, turn off the stove and take the pan off he stove and let the mixture cool down on room temperature. After the mixture is completely cools down; throw that mixture and wash your pan by hand using warm water, dishwashing soap and soft sponge.
  7. Let the pan dry or dry it using soft cloth.
  8. Now season it the same way we discussed above using any canola or vegetable oil.
